Environmental Science may be the most influential thing of your generation....Climate Change that is. Google search a Climate Change topic that you would like to educate yourself on or that interests you. Below is a list of various topics that are popular when talking about climate change...

1) Plastic in our oceans

2) Bees dying out

3) Forest Fires

4) Drought  areas leading to water conservation

5) Hundred year floods occuring more frequently

6) Category 5 Hurricanes

7) Rising sea levels/Melting polar caps

8) CO2 emissions & raising the global temperature

Keep the link to the article you decide to read for tomorrow's homework.

Thursday, May 21th:

Email me the link for the article you read.  Than, tell me how this topic is going to personally affect you in the future? If you don't think it will affect you than how will it affect your generation? (needs to be a paragraph at the very minimum for full credit). For example: If you pick Drought, "I could live in an area that only allows a certain number of gallons of water usage per family per day instead of unlimited or it could affect the amount of food available in stores due to crop shortage."

Friday, May 22nd: Congratulations you are done with 8th grade Health!! Enjoy your summer and take care of your bodies and the planet.  Off to high school you go, enjoy!!!
